This press trip with the men from Red Bull Salzburg for the second leg of the 1st Qualifying round in the UEFA Cup 2008-09 was the 3-0 victory in Yerevan, Armenia after the 7-0 home win not only from a sporting point of view a successful endeavor, but also moderately travel a highlight for me. The impressions in the few hours on the ground has exceeded my expectations by far, and a lot of prejudice in this period were converted to positive. The country with its 30,000 square miles and about 3 million inhabitants is still not blessed with excessive wealth (about 50% unemployment in the country), but the capital Yerevan still surprised with Western lifestyle and new wealth. particularly surprised I was kind of the people whose zest for life (which could be especially in the evening find in the inner city) and the clean air on the streets, they bring in for the most part with gas-powered cars, of Russian Ladas and Volgas to the Western top brands of all sizes, and lots of it.
